Rug Shopping
I had so much fun looking on Etsy for the perfect rug for the playhouse. Today it arrived from Turkey (within 6 days!) with free shipping. It was folded up so neat and small, no weird smells, no flaws, just a perfectly beautiful vintage rug. So beautiful in fact, it is living in my closet right now. Because we live on the wet West Coast, anything fabric will be living 9 months out of the year in our home anyway. So, I will happily share custody of it with the girls. Shipped, it wound up being around $175. I was a bit incredulously when I first place the order as I received a message from the seller with a third party payment method. With all the good reviews I decided to risk it and pay outside of Etsy. It all worked out and I was happy to leave a 5 star review. This will be my go-to Vintage Rug source from now on.
