lovely rituals

Blog by Jasmen Christoph

As summer slowly came to a close this year, it seemed to linger longer than usual. The warm weather persisted, with an abundance of sunny and dry days. This unusual extension of summer confused some of my plants, like my magnolia, which started budding in September. However, unlike my landscaping, my body and mind were not resistant. I eagerly anticipated the change of pace and the comforting embrace of autumn, eagerly counting down the days in August.

Being a self-proclaimed "fall girly," I relished the arrival of cider drinks, cozy fireside visits, and the peace of quieter days at home. As the gardens officially entered their long sleep, our yard became warmed by a thick blanket of yellow leaves. We look forward to spending quality time with family and embracing the festive spirit of the winter months.
