My friend Jacklyn opened the Comox Valley’s first bridal shop. Her dresses are a mixture of bohemian, sophisticated, chic, timeless and whimsical. From simple, sleek to beaded, intricate lace options. In addition to graduation, bridesmaid and bridal dresses, she carries a collection of gifts, jewels and homeware. Of course delicate accessories for making the big day even more special. Next time you are on 5th Street, pop in and say hello!

This has been a really special addition to our vibrant, growing downtown core. I love popping in to say hello (and shop) every time I’m in the neighbourhood. It’s also right next to my other favourite, States of Summer.

Jacklyn was hosting a graduation hair/makeup day at the time, so I took some photos of a few of the girls getting ready for their ceremony. In addition to the shop, Jacklyn is a very talented makeup artist. Here are some shots of her and her team getting these young ladies ready.
