States of Summer

It was a beautiful sunny day in town, and I had childcare for a few hours in the morning. I decided my time was best spent popping in to some of my favourite local boutiques on 5th Street downtown. Here are some photos I snapped in my friend Sarah’s gorgeous store States of Summer.

I didn’t try anything on this time (I stocked up last month), but I bumped into lots of familiar and friendly faces (including my aunt!). It’s a small town and that’s one of my favourite parts about living in this community.

I also completely randomly bumped into an Instagram friend that I haven’t met yet! Always surreal to see someone in person that you “know” online. She is good friends with Sarah and was there for a try-on! Check her out.

They have e-commerce set up but if you are ever downtown Courtenay, BC, then check it out for relaxing, sunny ambience and really friendly service!!
